Linda Larson – Remarkable Trees: A Global Journey

Join Linda Larson on an engaging journey to explore some of the world’s most remarkable trees. These giants of nature grow older, bigger, and stronger than anything else on Earth. They provide food, shelter, and oxygen, while also astonishing and sometimes challenging us. Throughout history, trees have been celebrated in stories, songs, and poetry, yet they often fade into the background of our daily lives. With their limbs stretching toward the sky, they quietly sustain us—because without trees, there is no us.

This inspiring 45-minute program, presented with wit, enthusiasm, and professional delivery, combines exceptional photography, in-depth research, and unique insights to highlight the profound role of trees in our lives and our deep connection to the natural world.

Robert Pavlis: Plants from Around the World

This is a fun program that is not very serious. It consists of a lot of pictures from gardens and natural settings that I have been lucky enough to visit, in the US, Europe, Cuba, and the Canadian Arctic. Most plants are not named, and it will not include a lot of cultural information. A good program for ‘just enjoying pictures’.

Jana Milbocker: Gardens of the Gilded Age

The Gilded Age is famous for its ornate mansions and grand gardens built by the Roosevelts, Vanderbilts, and Carnegies. Transport yourself to the Gilded Age with an armchair tour of the gardens at the Newport Mansions, Vanderbilt Estate, Vizcaya, Untermyer Gardens, Nemours and others.
